Polyurea Coating
Rock Solid Surfacing uses a proprietary polyurea enhanced with polyaspartic esters for concrete floor coating because it is the best — especially for the harsh cold climate and de-icing road salts of Colorado. Our coating process begins with concrete flooring repair and preparation, which are key components for a perfectly flat surface. We fill cracks all the way to the bottom with our proprietary polyurea product, remedy concrete spalling often caused by rebar corrosion or salts, and fill expansion joints to prevent cracking. Our experts mix polyaspartics with the polyurea we developed, creating a tightly linked chemical coating. Often, companies will apply an epoxy coating to concrete floors, which leads to frayed edges on scratches that trap bacteria. The product we developed allows for rapid curing for less downtime, mitigates harmful scratching and prevents delamination due to moisture — resulting in a concrete floor coating that has low-to-zero bacterial growth, absorbs into the floor instead of sitting on top, is chemically resistant, non-yellowing, easy to clean and waterproof.
1
Repair & Prepare
We grind the concrete, repair damage, and fill cracks and joints to create a flat, stable surface ready for bonding.
2
Bond & Seal
Our proprietary polyurea enhanced with polyaspartics penetrates and chemically bonds into the slab, forming a seamless, waterproof and highly durable coating

Finish & Protect
We apply decorative flakes or finishes and a protective topcoat, delivering a chemical-resistant, low-maintenance floor ready for use within a day.
Concrete Polishing
Residential and commercial concrete floor polishing is a service we provide that produces lasting benefits when it comes to maintenance, safety and cosmetic appeal. The finished result is a floor that is incredibly durable, nonslip — even when wet — easy to maintain, LEED compliant and ready for use immediately. Rock Solid Surfacing’s varied experience with this application include homes, retail stores, restaurants, hospitals and medical facilities, municipal and government buildings, schools, warehouses, and airports and aircraft hangars. The process for concrete floor polishing is thorough, starting with an assessment of the existing concrete’s damage, moister levels and evenness to determine the required scope of work. We will then grind the surface, add liquid densifiers for increased strength and apply our customer’s design choices. These can range from integral coloring followed by stains and dyes or custom looks that resemble tiles and granite. The final steps are to polish the floor and seal it for long-term protection.
1
Assess & Grind
We evaluate the slab, repair damaged areas, and grind the surface with dustless diamond tooling to create a smooth, even foundation.
2
Strengthen & Densify
Liquid densifiers are worked into the concrete to tighten pores, increase hardness and prepare the surface for a high-quality polish.
3
Polish & Protect
We refine the sheen, add color or design if desired, and seal the floor for a durable, low-maintenance finish ready for immediate use.
